Join the Club

At The Athletic Club of Columbus, we believe in honoring tradition, fostering belonging, demanding civility and empowering balance. We invite you to join Columbus's only Modern City Club - a club with a proud history, but focused on the promise that tomorrow holds.

To apply for membership, candidates must complete the following items:
1) Membership Application
2) Sponsor Recommendation - Primary Referral (active member)
3) Reference Form - Secondary Referral (active member, separate household)
4) Statement of Intent - Personalized letter to the Admission's Committee
5) Jpeg Digital Photo
6) Waitlist Deposit Form (available by request)

The completed application will be submitted to the Admissions Committee for review, and to the Board of Directors for approval. All candidates are subject to a credit check. Paperwork may be submitted electronically, hand-delivered, or mailed. The membership process can be altered at the Board of Directors' discretion.

  • Q:"Are family members entitled to use the Club?"
    • A:Both you and your spouse/significant other are considered members (as long as both of you have signed the membership agreement) and have full membership privileges. Children living in your household and under the age of 23 are entitled to use the Club and are assigned membership numbers. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Q:"Is there an additional cost to attend fitness classes?"
    • A:The ACC offers more than 30 group exercise classes a week such as pilates, yoga, conditioning, spinning, master swim and more, all of which are included with your membership. For personalized work outs and program prescription, the Athletic Department offers personal training services and small group training programs at an additional fee.   • Q:"Are lockers included with my membership?"
    • A:Both the women's and men's locker rooms have day lockers. There is an additional fee for permanent lockers as well as laundry services.

  • Q:"Is daycare available?"
    • A:The club has a fun and friendly Kid Zone to care for children while parents exercise, dine, or participate in any in-house club activity. Reservations are required; please call the Front Desk 48 hours ahead of time, 614.221.3344. Meals for the children may be arranged.

  • Q:"Is parking available?"
    • A:Members may park in our surface lot located on the east side of Fourth Street between State and Broad. Complimentary parking is available for up to 5 hours once registered for the license plate reader system at the Front Desk.  We also offer complimentary valet parking Tuesday through Saturday evenings starting at 5:00 pm. Guests are required to pay a daily rate to access the ACC parking lot.

  • Q:"If I must resign my membership, what is the appropriate way to do so?"
    • A:The Club's bylaws state that written notification of resignation must be presented to the Membership Director at least 21 days prior to the last day of the month in which the resignation will take place. Please contact the Membership Department with any questions: 614.221.3344.
