The Rod and Gun Club with the Athletic Club of Columbus is pleased to host a very special and
limited fly fishing outing at the beautiful Briarwood Sporting Club, located just 1 hour northwest
of downtown Columbus at Ohio’s high point in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
You will be fishing the scenic lower streams of the club for 5 species of trout – no fly fishing
experience or gear is required as two guides will be on hand to provide beginning fly fishing
lessons or guiding assistance to help take you to that next level in your casting/trout pursuit
skills if you desire. We welcome all skill levels. All equipment is provided – from rods, reels to
flies and nets!
Limited to 10 people on each day
$210 per person, includes the following:
• All loaner fly gear (but feel free to bring your own)
• Fly fishing lessons and guiding by two Orvis certified guides
• Coffee service in morning
• Box lunch from Brewfontaine
• Happy Hour, 2:30-3:30pm, with beer and wine, snacks
• Tips for guides
