Dana Johnson

Dana is the Athletic Director at the Athletic Club of Columbus. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and the National Federation of Personal Trainers, and has more than 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. He is also CPR, first aid, and ECC certified through the American Heart Association. Dana learned from the best; he developed a passion for fitness while playing football as a scholarship athlete at Bowling Green State University.

Dana has trained clients ranging from young athletes to seniors recovering from heart conditions. Dana enjoys working with and helping people achieve their fitness goals. Dana is a member of the National Football Foundation as well as the North American Club Athletic Directors professional groups.




Michele DeVault

Outgoing and driven, Michele enjoys working alongside others to reach a common goal. She has a strong background in fitness and has been involved in athletics for over ten years. Most recently, working for a Pilates Studio in Dallas, TX, as the Director of Operations as well as teaching classes and training. Michele oversaw all aspects of the studio’s management, individual training programs for clients and community involvement. Before that, she was an Assistant Women’s Basketball coach at the collegiate level at Wofford College, in Spartanburg, SC.  There she was in charge of Player Development training, recruiting, and the team’s academics. She also has professional experience playing basketball internationally.  Michele gained invaluable experience to become a successful athlete both on and off the court while playing collegiate basketball at East Tennessee State University for four years.  She enjoys being a part of seeing others work hard towards their fitness goals.


Reggie Henderson

Reggie is the Aquatic Director at the Athletic Club of Columbus. He is a Waterfront Safety Instructor, Certified Lifeguard, Certified Pool Operator, and a Certified Emergency Medical Technician. He has been in the health and fitness industry for over 8 years, and brings drive and excitement to the ACC aquatics program.

Reggie’s specialties are in private swim lessons, group lessons, and stroke refinement. He believes that swimming is important in improving your overall health.


Audrae Hughes, MPH

Audrae is a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Specialist with over 12 years of training and teaching experience in the fitness industry.   Her interest in biomechanics and fascination with the psychology of health behavior choice has made training one of her passions.  She earned a Master’s degree specializing in Health Behavior/Health Promotion from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Anthropology, also from OSU.  She holds her PT credentials through the American Council on Exercise, and is CPR, first aid, and ECC certified.  Within her training, Audrae includes a variety of approaches and assessments such as  Functional Movement Screening (FMS), Postural Analysis, and Corrective Exercises for those wanting to address movement integrity and muscle imbalances, VO2max and Resting Metabolic Rate testing for the extremely serious about athletic performance and/or diet, and other  training styles and programs depending on the needs of the individual or group.  She places a big emphasis on client enjoyment, motivation and safety.  In short, she loves to educate and inspire anyone who wants to improve, regardless of fitness level or skill.
